Soooooooo…I had a fun weekend! Friday some buddies invited me to go see Hot Fuzz, and OMFG I have a new favorite comedy and second favorite movie EVER (300 FTW). It was just ridiculously hilarious with the perfect blend of action. The last 30 minutes are so full of win I almost went blind. After the movie we headed back and ran into some more of the Smash guys in the lobby, so no surprise we ended up hanging out chattin’ it up and playing SSBM until like 3 or 4 in the morning. Good times.

Saturday I headed down to the Future Sight prerelease. Met up with some friends from back home. Magic cards and old friends always equal a good time. Of course, I ended up blowing a huge amount of money I didn’t have, but it’ll work out. This will be the first time I can’t pay off my credit card bill completely in my whole life, and with Animazement coming up, it looks like I’m going to be paying interest through the summer. Oh well, it’ll be okay. Things always work out, and no price is too small to spend time with good friends like that, because nothing makes me happier.

Finally dragged my way through doing the Cooking Mama review. Now what am I supposed to do with this game? If I had something else to trade with it, I’d do the 2-for-1 deal at GameStop again, but Zelda, Mario, and Dragonball are keepers. At least now I can finally play my Super Paper Mario. That is, if I can put down Hotel Dusk which finally arrived. Wow, just wow. I fell in love with this game from the opening cut scene. It kind of feels less like a video game and more like an “interactive graphic mystery novel”, which is awesome. If your a Phoenix Wright fan than the text-heavy game is up your alley. I can’t get over the animation, I can’t put my finger on why but I just LOVE that sketchy style.

Oh, can’t remember if I’ve mentioned it here or not. I will indeed be cosplaying Dark Link for Animazment this year. Yes, that is as awesome as it sounds, and I can’t wait. I promise tons of pictures this year.
