E3′07 or bust

So you may have heard E3 invitations are being sent out. These coveted treasures are only being given to a few thousand members (less than 4) of the press whom a selection of 32 companies specifically name. These are sent individually, not by company.

Here’s hoping I get mine soon. Please God, oh God please…

So far, I only know one person with one, and that’d be my boss Hang, lucky bastard. Be sure no matter the cost, I’ll be headed down there this year if I do get an invite. So, say a prayer for me peeps, ’cause I REALLY wanna get in those doors…

  1. Good luck, they dropped the invite list from 60k down to 4k…It’s unlikely you’ll get in since your review site is considerably smaller to the likes of the other hundreds of review sites..

  2. Ah, you’d be surprised. There’s a reason my boss got one. The way this works now, it’s a little bit less about how big you are and more about your relationship with developers and publishers. My boss lobbied for all of us. Your probably right and they only afforded us one seat, but if anyone else is to get one odds are it’ll go to me or Brian (the 360 editor).

  3. Ouch, didn’t Nintendo say they wouldn’t associate with E3 anymore? It’s just the Tokyo Game Show for them now, as far as I can remember.

  4. Not at all, they’re gonna have quite the presence. And as for E3’s little breakoff, E for All? Nintendo is practically running the show, or “anchoring” it at least, as the ESA is saying…
